Cast nylon pulleys have many advantages：
① The hard steel pulley and the steel cable are rigid point contact, which makes the cable easy to wear due to the high contact pressure locally, and may even cut the cable in the initial use. The cast nylon pulley is softer and easier to slide than the steel pulley, and it has some deformation when it contacts with the cable, so it contacts with the cable as an elastic surface, thus the contact pressure decreases, the wear decreases and the service life of the cable is extended.
